Melissa Rivers is an American actress and TV host
Melissa has had a somewhat successful career in entertainment, although she is arguably best known for being the daughter of the well-known comedian and actress Joan Rivers.
Melissa started her acting career in the 1990s with appearances on the television series "Beverly Hill, 90210," "Silk Stalkings," and "The Comeback." She had roles in the movies "Men in White" (1998) and "The Big Tease," and she co-starred with her mother Joan Rivers in the celebrity biopic "Tears and Laughter: The Joan and Melissa Rivers Story" (1994).
In the early 1990s, she also interviewed celebrities on the red carpet for nationally broadcast award presentations.
She also worked for the E! Network as a host and producer, hosting two specials for the network: "Oh, my! Oh Toddler! and Melissa's Guide to Pregnancy. Getting Through the Early Years."
In 2003, Melissa and her mother quit their job as red carpet interview hosts for E! to work for the TV Guide Channel. It was worth between $6 and $8 million, and it was a very profitable agreement with TV Guide.
As co-creator and co-producer of Joan's YouTube web series "In Bed With Joan," she continued to collaborate with her mother in 2013.
From the comfort of her bed, Joan would conduct the 15- to 30-minute series' celebrity interviews and intimate conversations.
During the final few minutes of each broadcast, Melissa would conduct interviews and pose questions. Kathy Griffin, Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho, RuPaul, Lance Bass, Howie Mandel, and Kelly Osbourne are some of the featured guests.
Melissa became a co-host of "Fashion Police" in 2015.
Melissa Rivers' net worth is currently estimated at $100 million.
